  • I forgot my password. What can I do?

    Go to the Forgot Password page and enter your email address. Instructions for resetting your password will be emailed to you.

  • I can't verify my account. Can you help?

    Sure thing! Please send us an email at support@meetme.com and include your name, country, and the email address you use to access your account. We can manually verify profiles that include all of this information.

  • How do I close my profile?

    Closing your MeetMe account is simple. Log in at meetme.com with your email address and password, click on the Settings button in the top right-hand corner of the page, and select "Account" from the drop-down menu. In the next screen, click on the "Deactivate Account" link. From the iPhone or Android app, navigate to Settings and select "Delete Account." When a member closes their profile in this way, it is permanently shut down and cannot be recovered.

  • I received an email stating that my account has been compromised - what do I do now?

    Based upon recent activity in your MeetMe profile, it appears that your account may have been accessed by a spammer. This is often caused by having typed your password into a phony site that looks like MeetMe, but actually isn't. Your profile was disabled for a period of two hours from the time you received email notification. Please reference that message for instructions on updating your password and the exact time that you will be able to log back in. Going forward, be certain that you only enter your password when you are 100% positive you're on the right site. If ever you're asked to give your password again after logging in, don't do it. Go back to the meetme.com home page and log in from there.   • How do I reset my password if I use Facebook login?

    Go to the Forgot Password page and enter your email address you currently use with Facebook. Instructions for resetting your password will be emailed to you.

  • Why do you need to verify my account with a telephone number?

    MeetMe is trying to ensure that all of the profiles on the site belong to real people. We randomly flag accounts and ask you to verify your account with a phone number to ensure that there is a real person using this profile.

  • What if I don't have a mobile phone?

    You don't need a mobile phone to verify your account. You can send a voice call to your home phone.

  • What if I don't want to verify my account?

    You can send an email to info@youniquevoices.com and include your name, country, and the email address you use to access your account. We can manually verify profiles that include all of this information.

  • What type of phone do I need to verify my account?

    You can use a mobile phone or a home phone. We do not send text messages to "free SMS apps" or allow you to use voice over IP services like Skype or Google Voice.

  • What else will you do with my phone number?

    Absolutely nothing! We only use your phone number to verify that you are a real person.
